| Why should you work
with a trainer?
True, it is or can be a little costly to hire
a personal trainer. However, your results will
come faster and more dramatic when you work with
a trainer. Even, a sub-standard trainer can
help. But with the right trainer, one who is
energetic, motivational, and educated; your
results will be amazing. Mainly because most
people will not push themselves hard enough on
their own. You also might not know what
exercises/movements to do or how to put things
together for an effective workout. If you doubt
for a second that movement choice and order of
your exercises is not important, consider this;
the most ELITE athletes in the world all
have coaches and trainers and the bulk of their
job is program design.
There is a also the safety factor, two-fold
actually. You will lower your risk of any
injuries when you have good form (which a
trainer can teach you) and while you work out
you will have the support of a spotter to push
you past your limits slightly.
A quality trainer also tracks your progress.
Not just strength increases but flexibility and
stabilization and more importantly Body fat and
measurements.
Lastly, the stuff you learn you can take with
you always. It is not like getting a skin
treatment and when you leave you immediately
start losing what you have paid for. Training
pays off, it teaches you lessons you will always
have with you in life and in the gym!
to recap:
1. Safety (less injury and a good spotter)
2. Motivation
3. Program design
a. quicker results
b. more effective workouts
4. tracking of progress
5. pushing yourself harder
6. Educating you (knowledge that goes
anywhere)
